I left the lunch that I packed at home. I purchased one of the Delish brand salads from Walgreens. Chicken, Apple , Walnut

Less than 1/2 a cheese burger nothing on it
most of a small side salad with dressing on the side and a small apple
What did I learn this week. I am so sad without my orange juice. I am truly in awe that people can function without orange juice forget coffee. And that I strayed from the plan with the burger today. I am not going to say that the burger was bad but I am sick. I still feel horrible. And I need to plan better. I went out and I did not really think about the food and then what??? What I mean about that is what do you drink? Since my last doctors visit I have given up soda and have not cheated. But like a big dummy it never occurred to me that every place has something else to drink besides soda and juice. That is not true. So I had a meal with no liquids. By the way I tried the water, I am still tasting the chemical taste in my mouth.
So as I sit and type this out I am portioning out my lunch, packing my water bottle and looking for recipes. I do not think I went for creative in my menu planning, so I am looking for other options. But I am not going to stress that. I think the most important thing is meet the food goals and meet them with food that I will eat. There will be a time for creativity, later.
